If you have a reasonably clear idea on what you want the appearance (the "Look & Feel") of your web site to be, that's great. If you have a reasonably clear idea of what you want to say (the "Content") and know what images you want to display, we're almost done!
If you are not so clear you are quite typical, but regardless of your clarity everyone should complete the "About Your Website" questionnaire so that we both can have a better idea of exactly what you want in a website - which will inevitably evolve as we go along, and that's OK.
The functionality, the arrangement and flow of the site and its message, is then what we focus on. Getting around must be simple, logical and intuitive for the visitor to get your message and to act on it (buy something, register, contact you, etc.) - which is the whole point.
A good exercise is to find 2 or 3 websites that you really do not like even if you are not yet sure why. Add them to your Favorites for now; it will be helpful for us later.
Your digital Content & Images will then be integrated into the site layout for your review and approval. Count on at least 2 additional iterations before we have a "Publishable" version. That is, one that will be up & operating within the 5 days. But you do have to do your share by being responsive; if you're not in the 5 Day program, take as long as you like to review & comment.
