FAQ Regarding the “5 Day Guarantee”
Q: If ‘Your Place On The Web” doesn't meet the terms of the "5 Day Guarantee" and I get my $500 back what happens next? A: Nothing. We didn't meet your need so our relationship is unfortunately over and it cost you nothing. That was the deal.
Q. If that happens can I have the rights to the Domain Name? If you pay $120 for the 12 month Domain Name Registration (we already paid it to the third party registrar) we will transfer ownership of the name to you.
Q. But what if I decide that I still want to continue working with you after you gave me my $500 back? A. We would be happy to continue, we could use all of the work that was already done and continue at the hourly rate to make changes or updates. You would still have to pay the $120 for the Domain Name registration.
Q. What if I already have a registered Domain Name and want you to do my website?
A. No problem. There is only a small reduction in the cost ($20) because our registration is a package arrangement with the Web Hosting included. The difference is that if we don’t meet the terms of the “5 Day Guarantee”, you would of course retain the name registration that you came with.
Q. What if you send me or show me draft versions of the website and I don’t respond to you with comments or approval within the required 4 hours?
A. If that occurs one additional day will be added to the “5 Day Guarantee” for each day that there is no response. Things happen – no problem. If we forward something for your approval after 8:00 PM, the 4 hour response requirement becomes 16 hours. Example: we send you something at 8:02 PM, your response is not actually due until 12:02 PM the next day.
